  Have you got the right Bed & Breakfast Insurance cover?

Running a B & B without the correct Bed and Breakfast Insurance is risky, especially if it’s on a standard household policy, and your insurers’ are unaware you take paying guests.

Risk 1. Unlike our Bed & Breakfast Insurance, household policies state, “The home is occupied by you, and members of your family only.” Insurer’s finding otherwise, can void a policy and reject any claim – Whether a guest was involved or not.

Case History. Claiming £200 for spoiled frozen food, Mrs. M. of Scotland casually mentioned to her “Direct” household insurer “The freezer was full, as I’m busy with guests” Result – Policy cancelled, claim rejected – What if this had been a major loss?
