Cold Weather - Preventing Water Damage

The recent extreme weather conditions have seen a significant increase in the number of claims for damage caused by burst pipes.

Whilst most Household Insurance policies provide cover for the resultant water damage, there are certain actions which can be taken to lessen the risk of this happening and avoiding the hassle and stress involved in dealing with a burst pipe.
