A brief history of Lyon Insurance Services

I established Lyon Insurance Services in 1983 and being based in beautiful North Wales soon began to specialise in the tourism industry, and in particular insurance for small guest houses. B & Bs and holiday homes. Today this accounts for 80% of our business.

In 1995 we launched our exclusive Sleepeasy policy underwritten by Norwich Union. Nowadays all new-business and renewals are handled in-house, with all documents usually issued by return of post.

Our philosophy on customer care and service isn't the type you learn in a few weeks on a training course - it's the result of many years' giving first-class professional advice to clients. In fact most of my staff have been with me for 15 years or more, along the way accumulating a wealth of insurance experience. This means you speak to someone who fully understands your policy and its conditions, and can usually answer most questions immediately.
